I recently dined with some friends at the Brahmaputra Jungle Resort and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of food, ambience, and staff. The restaurant was cozy and inviting, and the decor and lighting set the perfect mood for a relaxing evening.
The food was undoubtedly the highlight of the night. The dishes were prepared with fresh and locally sourced ingredients, and the chefs displayed an impressive range of culinary skills.
The staff at the resort were incredibly courteous and patient. They attended to our needs promptly and with a smile, making us feel welcome and valued as customers. Its a wonderful & cool resort in a beautiful Hill Top, full of greenery, in Tepesia, Sonapur, just, half an hour distance from Guwahati City. A pond on the hill top to enjoy boating, Elephant ride, Zip line..

Safety - we fount it 100% safe for all type of visitors. Many employees kept to attend to visitors requirement. It is also for elderly and child friendly.
Food - food quality, ethnic to continental delicious preparations available.
We like the resort as it is very friendly, disciplined staff to attend to, clean and hygienic, nice parking lots.

Interesting place
My Life; My Feet; My Way. visited this place for some fun and definitely had lots and lots of it. the place is lush green with lots of activities to do. The place is good in everything from the check in experience to the room service, food quality, staff and the quality of amenities. the only negative about the place is the connectivity. make sure that you book your cabs etc one day in advance so as not to get struck in the resort the way I did. The room quality is good but the management needs to do up the mattresses as they have gone bad. My room had a typical problem of having insects which the staff claimed was a rare issue but it continued for the complete duration for which i stayed.

A perfect place for a weekend getaway from Guwahati. The views in and around the resort, and the ambience is beautiful.
The resort is a perfect place for organising small corporate/farewell/birthday parties and even for a small one-day family picnic. The resort offers a lot of activities for children and adults including boating, ziplining, elephant safari, rock climbing and trekking.
One of the good part is the food - the restaurant there offers you some good food at extremely affordable rates! (The drinks menu is affordable too).
The resort also offers accommodation in their cute little houses - perfect for a night stay. The rooms are well maintained with proper washrooms and quite spacious.
The early morning view is to die for! Soak in some freshness and get a bundle of good photographs for yourselves.

If I will start with an adjective to describe our experience in this resort it will be "splendid". The room, the resort atmosphere, the staff are so so good. I had an amazing trekking and bird view experience with mr. Bubul malakar who was so knowledgeable and sweet. I will recommend once you should have this experience. Also the room in charge Mr. Ridip Sharma a wonderful fellow, he helped us in every possible way. The food here is just mouth watering, specially the morning black tea. We did a travel vlog here, so they helped us with all the information and guidance. So please guys, if u are planning to stay in guwahati, I will say hands down use this resort. To cherish the nature close to your hut. 6 out of 5 star.

This resort is exceptionally fun and amazing. The whole environment and aura of the place situation in a thoughtful place is great. The pictures and assumptions about this place was as expected, no catfishing or dull scenario in reality. There are way many fun activities at a cheap rate, time utilizing for children and family and pretty clarifying view for pictures.
The food is as expected, great and good, prices not too high.
Tridip Sharma, the owner and the manager Mr. Sumit Bhattacharya, along with all the staff were very welcoming and the hospitality warm-willed. Over all, the experience there was worth a while. Most recommended for a visit once at the least and thankful for the experience 💫

Visited Brahmaputra Jungle Resort yesterday with two of my friends. Had our lunch there. Moved around the area and enjoyed every bit of it.
It is a wonderful place to visit as it is not only a resort, but a biodiversity park as well. Even wild animals are frequent visitors here. The management of this resort has learnt the art of living together with the animals.
The park has a swimming pool, a beautiful garden, along with a children's park.
A rope way particularly for Bird watching is available. One can even go for an elephant ride for more enjoyment.
The food here was excellent, both traditional and modern cooking being available.
The rooms here looks very cosy and comfortable. Next time I come, I am planning to stay a few nights.
I therefore highly recommend this resort as a perfect place for holidaying.

Just passing through the HW and suddenly planned to have a break at Brahmaputra Jungle resort for some refreshments before entering into Guwahati..and was really amazed to see the drastic change, visited it gap of around 5/6 yrs, though heavy rush and extensive work load on a Sunday, must appreciate the hospitality of all the staff, right from parking assistant upto service boy...many things added in between this gap as like, children rides, monkey crawling, water roller, game parlour etc ..food taste also get improvised from my last visits ..have never been staying there, so should not comment much... Nevertheless, I believe, it won't be a bad choice in such midst of nature..keep your good work get going .👍

It is excellent experience having nice hospitality, superb testy food , clean room with good environment, combination of green and hills carrying natural singing of our bhagaban gifted innumerable numbers of varieties of wild birds.
The immense pleasures we enjoyed with superb curated tracking of 2.5 km in hills which is guided by Mr Bubul Malakar , who has big experience of natures of habitat of birds and animals and explains everything with his vast knowledge.
Around the track we observe various birds, golden monkeys and monitor lizard.
Good to see how the owner carry the responsibility towards the co existence with nature , good to see the maintenance of natural ponds for the animals for water inside the jungle.

The Resort is situated in a hilly area. It is surrounded by nature which makes it more suitable for families. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with good service. Washrooms were very clean. There were a bunch of activities like, archery, elephant ride, dart games, boating, water roller, zip lining, swimming, trekking etc. The zip line was situated at a high level but yet had great safety. There was a children's park where the children can play. There were cottages everywhere where the people could sit. The food was very tasty and the staff was very good. The environment was very clean and child-friendly. The elephant was cute and silent. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a place for relaxation far from the city's noise.
I really liked my visit and would definitely visit again in the future.

We had a fantastic weekend at the resort. The place is surrounded by greenery,,maintained well with well groomed and polite team.Champa ,the 45 year old elephant stands calm at the entrance to welcome the guests and take them on a tour on the her back.You can feed her bananas from the counter .Most important,the washrooms are clean .All the staff are cheerful & helpful.Nabajyoti, Bhargav at the food service, guided us to try the local food which we relished.They encouraged to avail the fun activities like boating at the pond,triple rope,swimming.Keshav n Deepjyoti Malakar at the pond helped my octagerian mom to enjoy a boat ride . Next time we shall venture to try the tripe rope .They assured us that it is completely safe.

Very well organized and managed resort with professional and polite staff even though they were working with almost maximum capacity over the weekend, they still managed to cater to every customer in the best way.
There are several activities to do and the presence of animals is very therapeutic knowing that they are well taken care of.
The rooms were neat and clean with all the basic amenities and luxurious. Exceeding our expectations on a number of occasions

Our group of 11 ladies from Mumbai recently visited Brahamaputra Jungle Resort and we are very pleased to see the rooms which are well maintained by Shri Pabitra Gogoi, HK Supervisor & his team including
Shri Babloo Malekar, Gardener who has maintained the garden excellently well.. The staff behaviour is very courteous..
Even the room service was so quick and enjoyed the view from the room.. we tasted the food for dinner and breakfast it was okay as it would be more tastier if it would have been hot..
We would prefer the Brahamputra Jungle Resort for our future trip and refer to our friends & colleagues..

An awesome place for a short vacation or a change, with family or friend, with an amazing staff and faculty . The things for enjoyment are really good like the zip line and the pool. The rooms are also clean and the view from the balcony is mesmerizing . The service is really good. And no words for the foods, just delicious. The views, the area, everything is nice... But I have some suggestions for the benefit of your resort,can keep a map in front of reception area of the resort placing where the things are across the resort and u can improve the way to zip line... Other than i just loved being there and hoping to visit again ❣️💕❤

Nice resort to spent time on weekends with your friends and family.
Just checked in today and we really like the place. Very peaceful!! Good place to relax. A great weekend getaway. Good for kids too since there are many activities for kids in the resort. The rooms are good and the service is also great. The staff are really nice and The food is great however, the service is slow for the food it takes at least 45-60mins for your order. As per the taste it's worth the wait. Will definitely visit again.
Highly recommended especially to families who is looking to spend good time with their loved ones.

Great place to spend the weekend with family or friends. The resort has a lot of greenery with fresh air that lets you relax from the busy Guwahati city.
Me and my sisters organized a Bachelorette party there for our cousin and it went great. We booked 2 rooms. Both the rooms were clean and the hospitality was good. You also get some complimentary services along with the booking like swimming pool,free breakfast, etc
They also do decorations and they decorated the room very well.
The food was tasty and the prices were reasonable compared to other resorts.
The service was great.
Would definitely visit again.

Very beautiful atmosphere and cordial staff. We had a small family get together and Mr. Sameen sarma and Mr.Papu, their staff organised everything so perfectly on a short notice over call.
You are greeted with an elephant at the entrance which makes it so enthralling specially for the younger members of the family. Once you get it, you are seated around a big well maintained pond. The seating is nice and cosy with clean decor and traditional materials used. There is so much greenery around you feel amidst nature. There are trails to go even uphill with few more sitting areas. There are plenty of adventure sports options you can try as well. Nothing breathtaking, but it's there. Overall loved the place and specially the hospitality. Food was good. You can have a taste of local Assamese cuisines.
Note: there is a steep drive up to the parking lot, so make sure you are in 1st gear during the climb.

Very happy and helpful staff. The serenity of the place is awesome . Bubul Malakar took us for Treking to the tea garden and the pleasantness with which he explained was awesome. The patience was incredible. He was very informative . You should take chance to be with him on your visit . Five stars to him .
Rimpi ,Raja, Kanyakumari & Shankar are awesome staff , we had once in a life time experience with them so pleasant and happy people . They rubbed their happiness on the guest.
The manager Suneet Bhattacharjee is great in managing the place with real pleasant appearance.

Dear Sumit Bhatercharjee Manager, Miss Sunena, Samar Sharma for the service , Dip for the pool , Shankar for game all are so wonderful and excellent Service .I would like to express my thanks and appreciation for the service and care I received from all the Staff,They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10.45 am. We got to check in its super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well.i would surely recommend to all my friends and relatives.

I have stayed at the resort 5/6 times over the last 15 years on my trips to India from Australia, and each time my stay has been all I could ask for and more, every time I stay the place gets better with more improvements. The food is good and plentiful, the resort is clean and some of the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen in India, the staff are always friendly some of which have been there every time I've been which to me says alot for management ( happy staff means happy place) keep up the great work and I hope too enjoy another stay there in the future.
